Kompetensi

The Course Learning Outcomes (CPMK) of Speaking 2 are intended to ensure that students are able to communicate actively and appropriately using both formal and informal expressions across a range of communicative functions.

Specifically, the expected final competencies (CPU-MK) include six main points in accordance with the modules studied:

  1. Appointments and Invitations:
    Students are able to
    make appointments and extend invitations as well as accept or decline invitations appropriately in spoken English using suitable formal and informal expressions in relevant communicative contexts.
  2. Complements, Acquiescence, and Reservations:
    Students are able to
    give and respond to compliments appropriately and use spoken English expressions for acquiescing and expressing reservations in both formal and informal communicative contexts.
  3. Distinguishing Between Facts and Opinions and Expressing Doubt and Disbelief:
    Students are able to
    distinguish facts from opinions and to express doubt or disbelief appropriately in relevant communicative contexts.
  4. Transitions from Childhood to Adulthood:
    Students are able to
    explain the transition from childhood to adulthood and relate it to life transitions across different cultures through appropriate cross‑cultural expressions in relevant communicative contexts.
  5. Schooling:
    Students are able to
    explain issues related to the importance of compulsory education for children in a clear, appropriate, and context‑relevant manner.
  6. Admitting Lack of Knowledge, Making Negative Statements or Comments Politely, and Taking and Keeping the Floor:
    Students are able to
    express the lack of knowledge, make negative statements or comments politely, and manage conversational turns by taking and keeping the floor appropriately in various communicative contexts.

Informasi Keselamatan Praktikum (SHE)

Dalam mata kuliah ini, aspek Safety, Health, and Ethics (SHE) ditekankan sebagai bagian dari etika akademik dan profesional dalam proses pembelajaran dan praktik. Mahasiswa diharapkan menjaga keselamatan diri dan lingkungan belajar melalui perilaku yang bertanggung jawab, disiplin, dan saling menghormati.

Setiap aktivitas praktik, termasuk penggunaan media digital dan rekaman suara, harus dilakukan secara etis, jujur, dan berintegritas, tanpa melanggar privasi, hak cipta, atau norma akademik. Mahasiswa wajib menggunakan fasilitas pembelajaran secara bijak serta menghindari tindakan yang dapat merugikan diri sendiri maupun orang lain.

Sikap profesional, kesadaran etis, dan tanggung jawab personal merupakan bagian penting dari capaian pembelajaran mata kuliah ini.
